■阿爾巴里諾ALBARINO (白酒葡萄品種white wine grape)■
又名「阿瓦里諾」(Alvarinho)，是西班牙與葡萄牙比較重要的白酒品種，酒質清新芳香。
also known as "Alvarinho" this is a popular grape in Spain and Portugal. Albarino wines are usually fresh, lively and fragrant.

■阿里哥蝶ALIGOTE (白酒葡萄品種white wine grape)■
在布根地區屬於非主流的白葡萄品種(夏多內則是最知名的白葡萄品種)，以製造不甜、略帶酸味及清爽口感的葡萄酒著名。在其他產區，阿里哥蝶則常與其他白葡萄品種混合釀酒。
this is the lesser known Burgundy white wine grape (Chardonnay is the most famous Burgundy white wine variety) known for making dry, tart and refreshing wines. In other wine regions, Aligote is often blended with other white wine varieties.

■阿蘭多ARINTO (白酒葡萄品種white wine grape)■
葡萄牙原生種，釀成的白酒具酸度不甜，由於口感清爽適合炎熱的氣候飲用。
A Portuguese variety used to make tart and dry wines. Arinto wines are very refreshing and suitable for hot climates.

■巴加BAGA (紅酒葡萄品種red wine grape)■
在葡萄牙較為常見，酒質濃郁集中顏色深，富含丹寧具陳年實力，但種植不易。
most often used in Portugal to make very concentrated, dark and tannic wines that have aging potential. This is a difficult variety to cultivate.

■巴貝拉BARBERA (紅酒葡萄品種red wine grape)■
普遍種植於義大利北部，尤以皮孟區為多。顏色暗紅，富果味，口感刺激強烈。
popular in Northern Italy, especially, Piedmont, where it is used to make dark, sharp and fruity wines.

■卡本內-弗朗CABERNET FRANC (紅酒葡萄品種red wine grape)■
波爾多區重要的葡萄品種，經常與卡本內-蘇維濃(Cabernet Sauvignon)，梅洛(Merlot)與小維鐸(Petit Verdot)等混合，尤其以聖‧愛美濃(Saint Emilion)區最佳。在法國其它地區如羅亞爾河谷地，或是新世界產區，卡本內-弗朗也以單一品種釀成口感豐厚的紅酒。卡本內-弗朗適合較寒冷的氣候，含有莓果香味，酒質濃郁口感醇厚肥美。
an important red wine grape in Bordeaux (especially important in Saint Emilion) where it is used in blends (with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Petit Verdot). In other French wine regions like the Loire Valley, as well as the New World, Cabernet Franc is often used to make hearty single variety red wines. Cabernet Franc grapes grow well in cooler climates and produce aromas of berry fruits. Cabernet Franc wines tend to be full-bodied, velvety and rich.

全世界最受歡迎的黑色釀酒葡萄，生命力強、栽植容易，在溫暖的氣候區中繁衍普遍。波爾多區有1/2以上的葡萄園皆種植卡本內-蘇維濃，通常與卡本內-弗朗(Cabernet Franc)、梅洛(Merlot)、小維鐸(Petit Verdot)混合。以卡本內-蘇維濃單一品種或是混合其它品種釀製的紅酒遍及全球。加州與澳洲也生產頂級的卡本內-蘇維濃紅酒。卡本內-蘇維濃釀造的紅酒厚重，丹寧強硬，需要較久的時間陳年才適合飲用。
The world's most popular red wine grape, Cabernet Sauvignon is a relatively easy-to-grow, hearty variety that thrives in warm climates. In Bordeaux the variety is blended with other grapes (Cabernet Franc, Merlot & Petit Verdot) and represents over 1/2 the region's total harvest. Cabernet Sauvignon single variety and blend wines are made throughout the world. Some of the world's best Cabernet Sauvignon wines are made in California and Australia. Wines made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are firm, strong-bodied and tannic. Cabernet Sauvignon wines tend to age very well with the better quality wines needing several years of aging before they are ready to drink.

■卡利濃CARIGNAN (紅酒葡萄品種red wine grape)■
法國種植相當普遍的品種，酒質淡薄。最好的卡利濃酒產自法國高比耶(Corbieres)的老葡萄藤。加州、北非與西班牙也種植卡利濃葡萄，一般皆用來混合調味。
the most common variety in France, Carignane wines are usually light and dull. The best Carignane wines are made from the old vines in Corbieres, France. This variety is also cultivated in California, North Africa and Spain and often used in blends.

■夏多內CHARDONNAY* (白酒葡萄品種white wine grape)■
布根地區釀造頂級白酒著名的葡萄品種。也是釀製香檳的主要葡萄，經常與黑皮諾(Pinot Noir)、皮諾莫尼耶(Pinot Meunier)混合。若以單一夏多內品種釀造的香檳稱為「白中白」(blanc de blanc)。通常夏多內葡萄釀製的白酒不甜、口感濃郁、果香豐沛，而在橡木桶中的醇化的過程也添加了橡木桶味與香草味。部份頂級優質的夏多內白酒也有陳年的實力。
Most famous in Burgundy where it makes many of the world's greatest white wines, Chardonnay is also a very important variety in Champagne (blended with Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier or as a single variety "blanc de blanc") and throughout the world's major wine producing regions. Chardonnay wines are commonly rich, fresh, fruity and dry. Chardonnay wines are often aged in oak barrels to produce oak, vanilla and other flavors. Top Chardonnay wines are some of the very few white wines to benefit from aging.

■白梢楠CHENIN BLANC (白酒葡萄品種white wine grape)■
從不甜的干白酒到高甜度白酒皆可釀造，是相當多樣性的葡萄品種。法國羅亞爾河中部的優質白酒則是以白梢楠釀成。此外，在加州、澳洲與南非種植也相當普遍，清新的酸度與甜度的平衡非常協調，也具有陳年實力。
a highly versatile variety that produces wines ranging from very dry to very sweet. In middle Loire, this grape produces some of Frances best white wines, this variety is also popular in California, Australia and South Africa. Chenin Blanc wines usually have a refreshing acidity that modulates the sweetness and promotes good aging.
